The rapid development of digital technology in the Society 5.0 era has had a significant impact on education, particularly in shaping the character of students. On the one hand, technological advances provide easy access to information and learning innovations, but on the other hand, they pose serious challenges in the form of moral degradation, ethical crises, and weakening moral values. This condition requires the strengthening of moral education as the main foundation in the modern education system. This study aims to analyze the relevance of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari's thoughts on moral education for character building in the Society 5.0 era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research type, with the main source being the book Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'allim and supported by secondary literature in the form of books and scientific journals. The results show that the values of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari's moral education, such as sincerity, teacher exemplarity, respect for knowledge, self-control, and social responsibility, are highly relevant in responding to the moral challenges of the digital era. This study explains that moral education is not an obstacle to technological progress, but rather an instrument of harmony so that digital transformation remains oriented towards human values and spirituality, thereby enabling the formation of a generation that is knowledgeable, moral, and responsible
