Budaya Kolaboratif Kepala Sekolah dalam Membangun Citra Sekolah: Studi Manajemen Kepemimpinan Pendidikan Islam

This study aims to analyze the principals' strategies in building a collaborative work culture as an effort to increase public trust in private schools. Public trust is an important indicator for the sustainability and competitiveness of educational institutions, especially private schools that depend on community support. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving principals, teachers, education staff, and school committee representatives as key informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using interactive data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that the principals implemented three main strategies in building a collaborative work culture, namely: (1) strengthening a shared vision through open communication and participatory dialogue; (2) empowering teachers and education staff through delegation of authority, forming collaborative teams, and increasing professional capacity; and (3) creating an inclusive work environment with an emphasis on the values of mutual cooperation, mutual trust, and accountability. The resulting collaborative work culture has a significant impact on increasing public trust, marked by increased parental participation, positive community perceptions, and increased interest in registering new students. This study confirms that collaborative leadership by school principals is a key factor in building a productive and harmonious work culture, ultimately strengthening public trust in private schools. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for school leaders in designing sustainable management strategies based on collaboration and participation.
