Pengembangan E-Book Kepemimpinan Madrasah Berbasis Budaya Pesantren untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Digital Kepala Sekolah

The low level of digital literacy among school principals and teachers in Indonesia, particularly within pesantren-based educational institutions, has limited the utilization of digital media to strengthen educational leadership grounded in religious moderation values. This condition necessitates the development of learning media that integrate digital transformation with Islamic value-based leadership. This study aims to develop a pesantren-based leadership e-book as a medium to enhance digital literacy while simultaneously internalizing religious moderation values. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results indicate that the developed e-book achieved a material feasibility of 90.1%, media feasibility of 89.2%, and practitioner feasibility of 91.5%, with an overall feasibility score of 90.26%, categorized as highly feasible. Empirical testing of the validation instruments also produced significant Aiken’s V values and Pearson correlations. These findings confirm that the pesantren-based e-book is effective in improving digital leadership competencies while embedding religious moderation values. This study provides a practical contribution by offering contextual digital learning media for madrasah and Islamic educational institutions, and a theoretical contribution to the integration of value-based leadership with digital transformation in contemporary Islamic education
