Abstract

This research aims to understand in depth the implementation of the Islamic Religious Education model at the Kaewnimit School and identify various challenges faced in the learning process. A qualitative approach was used with documentary methods and field observations to obtain comprehensive data. Data was collected from primary and secondary documents, including curriculum, academic records, and interviews with teachers and students. The research results show that the Islamic Religious Education model implemented at Kaewnimit School does not only focus on academic aspects but also emphasizes character and spiritual development of students. This model is designed to form a holistic understanding of religion by integrating Islamic values into various aspects of students' lives. However, this research also found quite significant problems, especially in terms of the instability of the curriculum, which frequently changes. Unstructured curriculum changes cause inconsistencies in learning, which has an impact on students' understanding of teaching material. In response to this challenge, schools are trying to adapt the curriculum to be more systematic and in line with student needs. These findings provide important insights for the development of an Islamic Religious Education model that is more effective, sustainable, and able to answer educational challenges in the modern era.
