Spiritualitas Muhammadiyah: Kontekstualisasi Gagasan Sufisme Ahmad Dahlan dalam Masyarakat Postmodern

Abstract

Kiai Dahlan as a hoofdBestuur Muhammadiyah is a type of purified and rational scholar in religion. He emphasized the importance of action rather than theory, the importance of reason rather than superstition. In the practice of religion, there are portraits of Sufistic life which is part of the Sufism area. Kiai Dahlan teaches about tazkiyat al-nafs, dhikr al-mawt which is part of the theme of ufidianism. Modernism is developed on various postulates of rationalism, empiricism and positivism, deliberately ignoring the very basic dimensions of life, while postmodernism tends to be more constructive, because it seeks to offer various alternative visions of truth. Thus, it is not just a continuous deconstruction, but also a positive reconstruction. The idea of spiritualism emitted by Kiai Dahlan glowing from the esoteric dimension of his soul, or more conveniently called with Sufi but not bound to the tarekat. Because, Sufi is a style of kiai Dahlan is a makrifat sufism, the submission of totality to God through His Shari'a, the depth of knowledge, the patience of charity and wisdom in appreciation.
