Abstract

This paper aims to describe the moral thinking of al-Ghaz?l? and Ibn Miskawayh from the ontological, epistemological, and axiological perspectives. axiological perspective. For al-Ghaz?l?, morality is an attitude that is rooted in the soul and is the origin of all actions. in the soul and is the origin of all actions. Center al-Ghaz?l?'s moral discussion is happiness. It cannot be sought but can be reached through the synergy of knowledge and deeds. action. There are two methods of attaining this 1) teaching and 2) the method of teaching from All?h.
