Abstract

This article talks about the world of education, especially pesantren in the frame of system theory. Seeing the world of education as a structure of society, this paper aims to read human activities as a series of functions that play a role and have value. value. In the perspective of system theory, pesantren is an example of an open system. This means that all aspects related to the education process in it, continuously has continuously triggered the exchange of information. It is also formed because of commitment; consensus; solidarity; cooperation; in addition, social systems tend to survive and integrate. In addition, social systems tend to survive and integrate. By Therefore, in social systems there is always a need for authority and legitimacy. and legitimacy. So that the world of education can be said to have process of assimilation and even Islamization of resources from and for the environment. for the environment.
