The concept of double movement developed by Fazlur Rahman provides an important epistemological foundation for the renewal of Islamic thought, particularly in the context of scientific integration in contemporary Islamic education. Through two main stages, double movement offers a hermeneutic approach that can bridge the gap between religious texts and scientific developments. This study aims to analyze the relevance, operational potential, and methodological implications of applying double movement in formulating a model of scientific integration in Islamic educational institutions. Using library research methods, this study examines the works of Fazlur Rahman, literature on integration and interconnection, and the latest studies on Islamic education curricula. The results of the study show that the dual movement approach allows for a more contextual, dynamic, and responsive understanding of the Qur'an in the face of contemporary challenges. In addition, dual movement can be used as an epistemic basis in the development of an integrative curriculum that combines Islamic theological values with modern scientific findings in a dialogical and transformative manner. The implementation of this concept also contributes to strengthening students' ability to connect normative principles and empirical realities through critical and reflective thinking. Thus, dual motion is a strategic paradigm that can strengthen Islamic education design towards a holistic, adaptive, and relevant scientific model for the needs of global societyDownloads
