Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) was carried out at RA Nurul Islam II with a focus on parenting assistance through Positive Parenting. The main objective was to enhance parents’ understanding and skills in educating their children at home by fostering empathy, effective communication, and role modeling. The methods applied included socialization, educational seminars, group discussions, practical simulations, and individual consultations. The program results indicated positive changes among parents, particularly in improving communication quality with children, reducing the use of negative parenting practices, and raising awareness of their role as the primary educators. The impact on children was reflected in their increased self-confidence, learning motivation, social-emotional skills, and the creation of a harmonious family environment. This program demonstrates that positive parenting can serve as an effective strategy to build quality education at home while strengthening collaboration between educational institutions and families.
